Cape/Shawl coat Bamboo Handwoven Hand Dyed - Paprika

$248.00
Cape/Shawl coat Tencel Handwoven Hand Dyed

Fiber: Tencel yarn is soft, breathes, and drapes well.

I love this style. It can be worn like shawl jacket open, with a collar look or without. It can also be pinned to the shoulder, as a flattering diagonal look.

The close ups are the best representation of the actual color.

Weave: Twill Crystals
Colors: Paprika

Approximate measurements:
Front panels are each 23 inches long
Back 27 inches
Arm opening circumference- 20 inches

Machine washable - cold water gentle cycle
Dry in dryer

The yarn was measured for the warp; hand dyed using several different colors, producing a variegated effect. Approximately 25 yards of fabric is woven from each warp that is dyed. The fringe it is hand twisted. All fabric is machine washed and dried after the item is woven.

My favorite part is watching as the thread weave together creating subtle shading changes. While weaving I can only see about 12 inches of finished fabric. After weaving it's exciting to watch the fabric wind off the loom.
